The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering was established in the year 2001 with a total intake of 60 and enhanced to 120 in the year 2005. State-of-the-art equipment and facilities are provided in all the laboratories by spending Rs. 50 lacs so far. The laboratories established are Electronic Devices and Circuit lab, Microprocessor, Micro controllers & Interfacing, IC Applications Lab, Analog & Digital Communications Lab, Microwave & Optical Fiber Communication Lab, ECAD & DSP Lab.

To develop innovative, competent and quality engineers by imparting the state-of-the-art technology. To organize continuing education programs for the development of students, faculty members and supporting staff. To maintain industrial relations and to establish workstations in the field of VLSI and DSP. To encourage the students and faculty members to undertake research programs and projects. To enrich the students through value based education.

About the Department:

The Department of ECE was established in 2001 with an intake of 60 and subsequently increased to 120. The department offers M.Tech program in Digital Systems & Computer Electronics with an intake of 18. The department has experienced, qualified and committed faculty. Right from its inception it is continuously thriving to impart quality education and to inculcate spirit among students for academic excellence.
