Training & Placement Cell (BITS)

• This department is headed by Head – Training & Placements.
• A representative each from Mechanical, Computer, Electronic Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering and MCA departments.
• One representative from the Department of Business Management 

 Goals & Objectives

• To ensure that students are adequately placed after their courses in reputed companies
• To actively interface and network with companies & organizations of repute
• To maintain relation with existing corporates
• To assist training of students in communication, confidence building and enhance job worthiness.

Functions

• Primary functions include interaction with various local as well as Multi Nationals, Service industries, Govt. organizations including Defence, etc., for arranging Campus placements for the students. 
• A constant network is maintained to ensure that maximum number of students get placement in organization of repute, in addition to this T&P Dept. does :–
1. Interacting with other College T&P departments for Campus placement drives.
2. Follow up for timely dispatch of Offer letters and related documents
3. Co-ordinating with various hospitals for selected students medical check ups according to the industry criteria.

Training & Apprenticeship

• Assist Training of teachers for their professional development and career growth-
• Arrange In- plant training for students of final years as well as Teachers against various projects floated by companies.
• Summer Training for students across the country is arranged.
• Arranging Industrial visits to various Corporate across the country.
• Career counseling. 
• Arranging lecturers by senior professionals from reputed Companies.
• Create a Data bank for the alumni who are placed in industries of repute.
• Assisting students in getting apprenticeship training for future placements in industries .  
• T&P department also assist weaker section of the students in undergoing training in Communication & Confidence building. With professional trainers for an exhaustive in house training as well as Workshops.

On going Training & Tie-ups

• An MOU has been signed with one of the reputed soft skill Training Agency based at Hyderabad. This agency conducts an exhaustive in house training for our Engineering as well as Management students. Such Training and Workshops are conducted twice in a year by their highly experience Trainers.

• In addition to the above, we are tying up with one of the reputed soft skill trainers at Nagpur from the immediate session. Students who are weak in communication or lack of confidence will be identified and trained.

• As part of the Institute – Industry partner ship, we have tie ups with certain leading manufacturing industries in the region –Viz. Sunflag Iron & Steel Industries, Sunil High tech Ltd., In order to run the same hassle free, sufficient amount is allocated by the AICTE. This is in vogue for the past couple of years.

• JKC has been tied up with our institution and conducting various certification programs.

• we are tying up with one of the reputed soft skill trainers GLOBAL CAREER POINT for the immediate session. Students who are weak in communication or lack of confidence will be identified and trained.

• We are also tied up with Infosys which conducts "Infosys Foundation Programs" like SoftSkills and TechnicalSkills.
