OBC CELL
Aim :
To be an institution of excellence in higher education that continually responds to the changing social realities through the development and application of knowledge, towards creating a people-centered and ecologically sustainable society that promotes and protects the dignity, equality, social justice and human rights for all, with special emphasis on marginalized and vulnerable groups.
Objectives :
Raising socio- economic condition of the OBC .
Bringing to mainstream OBC and enabling them to participate in the development process in an equitable manner.
Increasing their access to education, and other services.
To collect reports and information of State Government and UGC’s orders on various aspects of education, employment of SC/ST & OBC Students.
To circulate State Government and UGC’s decisions about different scholarship programs.
To communicate with the students and motivate them for better future planning.
To collect reports and information regarding the Government of India and the UGC orders on various aspects of education, training and employment of OBC.
To collect statistics on OBC students and employees.
To monitor the working of the remedial coaching scheme in the University for OBC students including minority students.
To function as a Grievances Redressal cell for the Grievances of OBC students including minority students and employees.
